Finite-difference Toda equation and representations of affine Kac-Moody algebras

Abstract: Basing on the representation theory of Kac-Moody algebras we are going to discuss a procedure which produces solutions of finite-difference Toda equations. In particular, this construction allows one to write fermionic expressions for the solutions. This formula is to be compared with the known values of the Givental-Lee J-function, which satisfies the finite-difference Toda equation.
