Some recent global results on nonlinear wave equations

Abstract: I present some recent results in the field of nonlinear wave equations concerning singularity formation and global (in time) behavior. In particular, I will discuss the construction of nondispersive solutions and solutions that blow up in infinite time for the critical wave equation, stable blowup dynamics for energy supercritical wave equations, decay of waves on a Schwarzschild black hole, and nondispersive solutions for the cubic wave equation.
