Einführung in R

Introduction to the basics of using R with practical hands-on application for descriptive statistics and visualization of example data. Application of classical statistical methods in R, e.g. hypothesis testing, simple regression. First initiation to progamming techniques in R: basic elements and principles of the language, functions, good coding practices etc. Participants will have the opportunity to practice all contents immediately on a computer.

• The course is LOC (local online course) based, that means MOOC online material discussed during the course time slots.

• Basic knowledge of statistics and computer literacy are required.

• The course has as objective (1) gain independence in using R for standard statistical analyses, (2) ability to independently use other statistical methods in R, (3) getting ready to start programming in R.
