Findings and new directions: Euclidean lattices, linear codes and others

Abstract: The talk presents recent findings of the last years about algorithmic techniques which improve the solution finding of hard problems such as the subset sum, shortest vector and syndrome decoding problem. These problems, among others, are the base for cryptography for which they provide fundamental security. We will further look at future topics of research in the domain of post-quantum cryptography which provides a large portfolio of interesting topics for us.
