Motivated by a conjecture of Bressan on the mixing of flows generated by divergence-free vector fields, we develop an approach to mixing based on singular integral estimates. As an application we prove a Hardy-space version of the Bressan mixing conjecture. We then comment briefly on two toy problems related to the original conjecture. This is a joint work with A. Seeger, C. Smart, and B. Street.
