Non-archimedean quantum K-theory

In this talk I will survey recent ongoing work with Tony Yue Yu. Building on our previous foundational work, we construct and study a derived moduli space of rigid analytic stable maps into a smooth rigid variety. We show that the axioms of Gromov-Witten theory can be stated in terms of intuitive statements about these derived moduli spaces. The use of derived geometry allows very simple deductions of the axioms for quantum K-theory out of the geometric statements.
