The dimension of Bernoulli convolutions

The Bernoulli convolution with parameter lambda in (0, 1) is the measure nu_lambda on the real line that is the distribution of the random power series sum of +/-lambda^n , where +/- are independent fair coin tosses. These measures are natural objects from several points of view including fractal geometry, dynamics and number theory. I will discuss recent results about their dimension.
