Rationality under specialization

We will recall the specialization method introduced by Voisin in 2015, for the study of the behaviour of properties related to (stable) rationality of algebraic varieties under specialization. More recent formulations by Nicaise and Shinder and by Kontsevich and Tschinkel will be discussed, along with variations such as the setting of varieties with finite group action.
