(2n+s)-dimensional metric f-manifolds are natural generalizations of almost Hermitian manifolds (s=0) and almost contact metric manifolds (s=1).
In this talk, we will demonstrate that such manifolds can be equipped with
a unique metric connection with skew-symmetric torsion preserving the structure,
extending previously known results for the cases \(s=0,1\)  by Th. Friedrich and S. Ivanov.
In the case of S-manifolds, which provide a higher-dimensional analogue of Sasakian manifolds, it turns out that
this connection has parallel skew-torsion. Time permitting, we will illustrate the results  by examples of CR-codimension \(s\geq 2\). This talk is based on a joint work with A. Borówka (arXiv:2511.14392).
