The course provides an in-depth understanding of numerical methods for the solution of problems arising in computational science and engineering applications.

Objective:

Students will learn essential numerical methods and applications within computational science and engineering.

Performance Assessments

1) 50% of the exercise must be solved correctly.
2) Final exam will be closed book on paper. It will take place on 23.12.2016 from 12:00-14:00 in KOL-F-121.

Note:

The first two weeks of the exercise lab will include a crash course in Matlab.
